A "TROJAN HORSE" FOR MASSIVE

ILLEGAL ALIEN AMNESTY –

AGJOBS BILL INTRODUCED IN HOUSE!

– Fast Track Likely for Bill! –

The AgJobs Bill masquerades as merely providing permanent legal residence for a few million illegal alien Agricultural Workers. But it is more than that, much more. It is a "Trojan Horse" for a Massive Amnesty of all the 25 million plus Illegal Aliens in the USA, plus a permanent residence ticket for their families.

H.R. 884 was recently introduced in the House by Reps. Chris Cannon (R-UT) and Howard Berman (D-CA). This Bill would qualify 1.5 million agricultural workers and their families for amnesty. It could potentially amnesty 3 million people or more via a new "blue card" permanent legal residence system.

In the Senate, the companion bill S. 359 is co-sponsored by Sens. Kennedy, McCain, Martinez and Specter. You may recognize those names from last Spring, when the Senate passed a massive Guestworker/Amnesty bill sponsored by these same Senators.

These bills will very likely develop into a full-fledged Amnesty and Massive legalization bill. How do we know that? Well, Open Borders leader Sen. Kennedy said after last Fall’s election that now we have a chance to pass "our plan".

BALANCE knows Kennedy's plan. It is reflected in the Bill that he and the other Senate Amnesty sponsors supported in conference and on the floor of the Senate last Spring. That bill would allow 100 million immigrants to settle permanently in the US in the next 20 years along with the million plus annual legal and massive illegal flow that we have now according to the Rector study conducted by the Heritage Foundation. Kennedy says he wants the Amnesty Bill signed into law by "this June".

It is critical we defeat this AgJobs bill because it is the Open Borders advocates opening Salvo in their Spring Campaign to pass The Massive Amnesty, JUST LIKE IT WAS LAST YEAR!

But BALANCE and its ASAP Coaltion Allies stopped the Amnesty bill in the last Session, and we can stop it again, but we must have your help!

Write, Fax, and call your Representative and Senators and tell them that you oppose both H.R. 884 in the House and S. 359 in the Senate. Tell them that you will not accept any Amnesty, disguised as an AgJobs bill or otherwise. Furthermore, demand a 5-year MORATORIUM on all immigration in excess of 100,000. PUSHING FOR A MORATORIUM is the most effective way to fight against an Amnesty because it puts downward pressure on the numbers and calls the whole enterprise of mass immigration into question. Pushing for a moratorium also defeats the open borders argument that "the solution to the illegal alien problem is to legalize them".
